It was a blast!

Last November the second National Cocktail Competition of Taiwan took place. Our local partner BFLO organized and hosted the event at Mud Bar Taipei.

During the qualification phase, prior to the live event, 94 Bartenders submitted their Bobby’s signature drink. Our 5-panel jury invited 10 of them to compete against each other. A live stream connected Taipei with Schiedam and a Mandarin-Dutch translator was indispensable for Bobby’s Grandson’s Sebastiaan and David to understand all the beautiful stories of the 10 competitors.

The high level of the 10 talents made it a very close call, but our 5 jury members finally voted for this top 3;

1st place: Arthur Lee, from Chope Chope Eatery.
2nd place: Jint Huang, from Mod Public Bar.
3rd place: Max Lin, from P.S. I Love You Bar & Bistro.

Thanks to the outstanding organizational skills of our partner BFLO and all bartenders who participated, this event was definitely one for the books.
