We ended March with a bang! ‘Cause the beautiful city of Schiedam was on fire during the annual Jeneverfestival! Celebrating spirits in the distilling capital of the world; it doesn’t get much better than this.

The festival took place in the iconic Havenkerk Schiedam and lots of brands were shining on both Saturday and Sunday, and of course, we were there too. At our Bobby’s bar you could try all of our Bobby’s signature serves, served by our friend Helder! And, very special, the first bite of our tasty Bobby’s x Bonte Koe chocolate bar.

To kickstart the weekend we partnered up with our friends from 1714 Drinks & Bites to host a Bobby’s On Tour on Friday with guesthifts from Arno van Eijmeren (Barrelproof) and Joebert Polders (The Rumah), Bobby’s Bingo, and of course disco!

For us, Sunday was extra special because of the Jeneverfestival’s cocktail competition. The brands that joined the competition were represented by bartenders and bars from all over the country.  Bobby’s was represented by Blas Iannini, bartender and owner of Restaurant Oniria (which you may know from the Bobby’s Bar Tour) in Schiedam and we couldn’t be happier and more proud! Blas won all three prizes (yes, really!) with his tasty cocktail: Professional Judges Prize, Audience Award and the Nationaal Jenevermuseum Schiedam Main Prize!
